Greenwich Case Study
We have worked with a large number of community groups and therefore we understand how important it is to guide them through complex processes in the built environment. Our design workshops are tailored to the specific requirements of such groups and respond to their needs at a particular moment in their project.
It is vital that we listen and then use the tools we’ve developed to empower them to make effect real change.
Greenwich Citizens:
Archio was invited by Create Streets to run a workshop with The Greenwich Citizens Housing Group, who are in the process of forming a Community Land Trust. The workshop was part of the Place Champions programme, funded by Trust for London.
The workshop was a key opportunity for members of the Greenwich Citizens Housing Group to expand their knowledge of the design process.
Archio guided the groups through how to use key urban design principles to unlock a site.
Our ambition was to create an atmosphere for discussion as well as making the architectural design process visible and accessible by putting the pens in the hands of the group.
