Earlier this month, the Archio team spent the day exploring some of London’s most inspiring housing projects from recent years. Our journey kicked off at Canada Water, where Alex Gordon from Morris + Co. gave us an incredible tour of their K1 project. We even had the pleasure of meeting Anne, a resident, who shared how living there has transformed her life:
"Every day when I’m on my way homefrom university, I am excited to get home! Living somewhere like this has made me so much happier." – Anne, K1 Resident.
Next, we revisited one of our much-loved projects, Citizens House in Lewisham. It’s always a pleasure to see how it has become such an integral part of the community, with residents truly making it their home.
After a quick lunch stop, we were joined by Jack Hawthorn from Henley Hale Brown, who kindly gave us a tour of Chatto, Taylor and Wilmott Court. It was inspiring to see how these three projects have transformed the immediate area, and the attention to detail was amazing. Each and every element of these buildings were so clearly considered.
We wrapped up the day by visiting Al-Jawad Pike projects on Daubeny Road and Madneville Street, where the vibrant community engagement was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Building quality homes to help present and future communities thrive.
Huge thanks to Alex, Jack, and our very own Emma Bennett for making the day such a success.
