With our 10 year anniversary next year, we are excited to be fostering such excellent members of our growing team, to support our amazing clients. Architecture is a team sport, reliant on a number of expertise and skills and so we are thrilled for James and Joao to be taking on these leadership roles.

James joined Archio in 2019 and since then has led many of our co-housing and community-led housing schemes, including Angel Yard in Norwich, with TOWN, honing his talents in participatory design. James is Archio's Sustainability lead - he is Passivhaus trained and wrote our in-house Sustainability Briefing document.

Joao brings years of experience to the team, with a particular expertise in all things construction and technical. Joao has recently been leading on the construction phases of Citizens House for London CLT and new social housing for Southwark at the Astley Estate. He has also led our ISO9001 certification, honing our internal quality management systems.
