Archio have been Shortlisted for the Archioboo Web Awards 2016
August 2016

We are very pleased to say that Archio have been shortlisted for ‘Best Written Content’ in the archioboo web awards 2016. For this category, it is noted by archiboo that content on the web has a different skill set to that for print. It needs to be ‘engaging, original and insightful’. Additionally, consistency is important as well as being relevant and readable to one’s audience.

Whilst we do ensure our projects are uploaded with details on history, development and work to be carried out, it is also our blog page which we feel is a very strong way to communicate with those who visit the Archio website. It is through blogs, that the practice as well as individuals in the studio, can not only write up news about the company but also write pieces on topics that interest them. It is a way for those in the office to learn and spread their knowledge to each other and to those who visit our website and read the articles posted. We have had blogs from the history of an egg box, to awards we have won, and to those that are more technical discussing planning policies. Regardless of the topic, they are written to be accessible so that they can be read by a wider audience than just architects.

To support our written articles Archio are on Twitter and we will be starting to use Instagram shortly. Instagram is now said to be the most visited form of social media and as it is used to share imagery, it is a great way for architects to show their interests and styles via a visual platform.

Thanks again to archiboo for nominating us and keep an eye out for the results in September! In the meantime, don’t forget to take a look around our website and have a read of a blog or two.
